Molly Dix, Technical Team Manager at RTI, gives a preview to the Open Innovation panel taking place this Sunday at Opportunity Green 2009.
Becoming sustainable means more than adopting existing best practices. Companies need to identify emerging technologies and ideas developed from a range of industries in order to really make a difference. Molly's discussion of open innovation showed how companies can actively seek out and adopt new ideas. It is amazing how many companies are passive in their sustainability efforts and only integrate merging technologies when forced to.
