Mr. Manuel Sattig is the communication manager for project i for BMW AG. In this role, he is responsible for the strategy, planning and coordination of project i communication and activities.
With project i, the BMW Group is corroborating its position as the most innovative and sustainable auto manufacturer in the world in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index for the seventh year running. With BMW i, the BMW Group is providing answers in a holistic manner to the mobility challenges of the future. In addition to purpose-built premium vehicles with electric drive, the company is also offering intelligent mobility services. Manuel has a unique insight into BMW’s international ecological and social sustainability efforts throughout the value chain, with its comprehensive product responsibility and a clear commitment to conserving resources as an integral part of its strategy.
Manuel Sattig began his automotive career at BMW AG in 2002 as specialist for marketing accessories and aftersales launch management, overseeing the BMW X3 and BMW 1 series as well as marketing and sales concepts for MINI accessories. Beginning in January 2005 and continuing over the next five years, Manuel Sattig assumed a number of roles at MINI Germany including marketing specialist for MINI and project manager for GO FOR MINI. He followed that as the launch manager for the MINI John Cooper Works GP, the launch manager for the MINI Clubman and then retail management of the MINI Countryman and was later named project manager for the MINI E. Manuel Sattig studied business administration at the University of Bamberg in Germany between 1995 and 1996 and received a Diplom-Kaufmann degree in 2001 from the University of Hamburg.
