Bill Morrissey is vice president – Environmental Sustainability at The Clorox Company, leading the company’s global sustainability efforts. Bill and his Eco Office team are responsible for the development and execution of strategies and plans that drive sustainability improvements across Clorox’s operations, product portfolio and workplace.
Since the Eco Office was established in 2007, Bill and his team have accelerated Clorox’s progress in decreasing the company’s environmental footprint, including reducing greenhouse gas emissions, as well as saving energy, water and solid waste. The Eco Office has also partnered with Clorox business units to make sustainability improvements across the company’s portfolio and has a goal to impact more than 300 products by 2013.
Bill is a consumer packaged goods veteran with more than 25 years of experience in marketing, business development, strategic planning and general management. Prior to his current assignment, Bill was COO of Naturize BioSciences Inc.
Bill is involved in many industry and community sustainability initiatives. He serves on the board of directors of Keep America Beautiful, the largest U.S. volunteer-based community action and education organization focused on waste reduction and recycling, community greening and litter prevention.
Bill spends his remaining time raising three young sons with his wife Kilian in the San Francisco Bay Area.
