Travel to and from a conference has a huge environmental impact. In order to help decrease Opportunity Green’s ecological footprint, please take a moment and consider the following transportation options before making your travel plans.

Carpooling to/from the Conference

There will be priority parking spaces for attendees who carpool at the conference at 1037 West 6th Street, Los Angeles, CA 90017.

Shuttles to/from our Partnering Hotels

Balqon is providing free shuttles to and from the conference will be available for attendees staying at our partnering hotels, The Standard and The O Hotel. There will be departures on Thursday morning, Thursday evening (both after the conference and after the After-Party), Friday morning, and Friday evening.

Public Transportation to/from the Conference

Public transportation from LAX to the Conference

1. Take the Union Station FlyAway bus to Union Station
2. Catch the Red or Purple Metro Rail Line to 7th Street /Metro Center Station.
3. Exit to 7th Street/Figueroa
4. Turn right, walk northeast on Figueroa towards Wilshire Blvd.
5. Turn left onto W. 6th Street (continue walking up the bridge along W. 6th street)
6. Continue until 1037 West 6th Street, Los Angeles CA 90017

Using the Metro Transit (Bus)

The Metro Transit Stations closest to the conference are:

• 6th/St. Paul (located right next to the conference)
• Beaudry/5th Street

Buses that arrive at 6th/St. Paul Station:

• 18 Bus towards 18 Wilshire/Western Station
• 18 Bus towards 18 Wilshire/Vermont Station
• 16/316 Bus towards 16 Cedars-Sinai

Bus that arrives at Beaudry/5th Street:

• 760 Bus towards 760 Downtown LA - 5th - Beaudry

After arriving at Beaudry/5th Street:

1. Head southwest on South Beaudry Avenue and walk towards West 5th Street
2. Turn right onto West 6th Street
3. Continue until 1037 West 6th Street, Los Angeles CA 90017

MetroRail Station closest to conference: 7th Street/Metro Center Station (Red, Purple, and Blue Lines)

Directions from 7th Street/Metro Center Station to OG Conference:

1. Exit to 7th Street/Figueroa

3. Turn left onto W. 6th Street (continue walking up the bridge along W. 6th street)

Eco-Friendly Car Service

Green Car Service will be working with us by servicing their eco-friendly fleet, consisting of hybrid cars and vehicles that operate with an alternative fuel source, to attendees.

You can reserve online or call (310) 430-1882. Advance reservations highly recommended. For last minute reservations, expect one hour for rides to reach pick-up destination.

If you are coming from or going to LAX airport, Green Car Service will offer Opportunity Green attendees special flat rates:

• LAX -> Downtown LA -- $37 + $4 LAX Fee
• Downtown LA -> LAX -- $37

If you are calling, remember to tell them you want the “Opportunity Green Flat Rate”.

If you are reserving online, specify you would like the “Opportunity Green Flat Rate” in the “notes” field.

Please note that the 10% coupon available on Green Car Service’s website cannot be applied to these flat rates.

Biking to the Conference

We will be providing bicycle racks on the conference site for attendees. They will be located next to the entrance (1037 West 6th Street, Los Angeles, CA 90017).
