Jeremy Walker

Jeremy Walker is CEO of Limey Group LLC, a Bay Area consulting company, specializing in clean and energy efficiency technologies. Since 2000 he has been advising and occasionally acting as Interim CEO for early stage cleantech startups with viable technologies, but hampered by limited business, marketing and financial ability. As interim CEO of KiteShip, which builds large traction kites for commercial shipping to reduce fuel consumption and emissions, he achieved widespread buzz in the investment community and media, and steered the company to a win in the 2006 California Clean Tech Open, widely regarded as the "Academy Awards" for the cleantech industry. Neglecting to read the small print, he is currently acting as the volunteer PR & Marketing Chair for this year's competition. A lifelong ocean racing sailor and serial entrepreneur, he came to Silicon Valley from London in 1994, and is currently well advanced with formation of a series of clean technology incubators in the Bay Area, which will expand nationwide and internationally.
